I designed this interactive section as an accompaniment portal for the Island Hall Exhibition Alien Worlds. I wanted the phone to be like a Playstation controller. Turn your phone to landscape and you can then tap the icons, revealing different thoughts, ideas and photos explaining why I chose to paint what I have and why you will see some of the marks on the cloth relating to the moon. I hope this helps adds to your experience at the exhibition.
Scroll down for the list of paintings within the exhibition. I have hung the exhibition in order I painted so you can see my development. On each page within the interactive section you can use the icon buttons to view different options or scroll down and see the individual parts.
Please use a torch to throw light over a painting and use a magnifying glass like a portal on a space ship in which you can peer down on the surface of a painting to observe all marks
Ghost Portraits and Light Section
I began experimenting with long exposure photography in 2011. I added these here to contribute to the theme of the Moon and Night of the exhibition.
A Drawing in the Hand
These are not really related to the Night theme of the exhibition but as they are 9cm x 9cm in size, I feel the best way to view is on a mobile screen. I did complete these since my last exhibition here in 2022 so have added them
Please be aware that there are large files to be loaded when viewing images or videos and it may be slow to come into focus or play.
