Each night in Southern Africa, as the stars twist out of the horizon up into the night, an image appears.  It looks to me like a woman, her face turned towards us as though she is glancing to her right. As the night deepens and the Milky Way continue to twist and shine with more stars you lose her but for those few hours after twilight she rises above you. I think of it as a sort of accompaniment to Orion. The Suspended Man image(see X marks the spot Painting) has the outline of a man in light, floating over the plain but in the background, up high in the night is Orion, also a Suspended Man. The Berbers of North Africa have a letter in their alphabet( Z ⵣ) that they call suspended man. It is also the symbol of their culture. The demonstrate by leaping like a star fish into the air and I wonder if Orion has anything to do with it.
