You knew by mid 198‌0's , in South Africa, that no one was in charge any more. Events were. Awful things happened and those in positions of Power spoke and no one listened and we went back to waiting for the next thing to shake us. A revolution of a shift from the old way to the new. I feel these times are just as similar. Passing through a neighbourhood this Spring  in Berlin I noticed a poster for the Maxim Gorki Theatre Company. I just think it's wonderful image for their play Cassandra or Songs of the Canaries.  There are voices these days that make a good living out of selling the idea of catastrophe. Tied in with a loss of power that is seeping everywhere , it is a dangerous itch being scratched. This image just stopped me and made me laugh.
